Weiwen is a macro analyst at the Phillip Securities Research Macro Strategy team, responsible for macroeconomic surveillance and the market outlook.
Prior to joining Phillip Securities Research, Weiwen was an economist at the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Weiwen received his Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) from the Singapore Management University, where he graduated with double majors in Economics and Acturial Science.

Morningstar Asia
Jackie Choy is an ETF Strategist for Morningstar, overseeing Morningstar’s ETF research activities in Asia. Prior to joining Morningstar in 2012, he was an investment analyst at Cohen and Steers, a fund company specializing in real estate securities, covering Hong Kong real estate securities. Before joining Cohen and Steers in 2010, he was a research analyst for Nomura/Lehman Brothers, covering Hong Kong and China real estate securities. Choy holds a Master of Arts in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Oxford and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

 
Mr Anson Chow
db-X Deutsche Bank
Anson Chow joined Deutsche Bank’s db-X team in 2007 and is responsible for Deutsche Bank’s exchange listed products including product development, statistical analysis and investor education and training. Currently Anson works with the financial institutions and the brokers in Hong Kong, mainland China and Singapore on product training. He speaks regularly in public investment seminars and attends media interviews in Hong Kong. Anson holds a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago in the USA.


Mr Suresh Singh

Suresh Singh, Director, BlackRock. Suresh has over 20 years of experience in the financial markets.  Previously he was Managing Director at Macquarie Bank where he initiated and ran the fund of hedge funds business and recently was head of Sales and Structuring (SE Asia) for Macquarie Funds covering institutional and private wealth clients. Suresh joined Macquarie with its acquisition of the Bankers Trust Australia's investment banking business. Prior to that Suresh worked at National Australia Bank's Global Independent Risk Oversight unit where he was Head of Risk Analytics. Suresh has a BEng (Hons) degree from University of NSW, Sydney.

Hon Cheung is a Managing Director for State Street Global Advisors and is the Regional Director for the Official Institutions Group in Asia with responsibility for developing relationships with central banks, sovereign wealth funds and other government institutions in the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Cheung joined State Street Global Advisors in 1996 and has served senior roles in the London, Hong Kong and Singapore offices. 

 
Mr Albert Cheng

Albert Cheng joined the World Gold Council, Singapore regional office in March 1993 as a Regional Manager, Planning and Business Development, Far East, becoming Managing Director, Far East in 2003 with responsibility for operations in the entire region.
Prior to his many years in gold marketing, he was with Dentsu, Young and Rubicam, Hong Kong in the early 80's, where he was responsible for a number of popular and durable consumer products. He was Account Director when he left. His career in gold marketing began in July, 1985 when he joined the Royal Canadian Mint as a Manager for South East Asia. A graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Mr. Cheng holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing.

Sam Goh is the founder and executive wealth coach at Wisdom Capital, a wealth coaching firm that specialises in premier and financial wealth coaching.  Officially accredited as the youngest wealth coach and trainer in Asia, Sam has been invited to speak at financial institutions, corporate organisations, educational institutions in Singapore and Malaysia.
He is currently one of the lead trainers at Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) and serves as one of the external appointed consultants at EPF (Malaysia's equivalent of CPF).  Sam also serves as one of the Investor Education Trainers at the Securities Investors Association of Singapore (SIAS).  He has been featured in major newspapers, magazines and TV talk-shows in Singapore which invlude Lianhe Zaobao, The Sunday Times, The Straits Times, The Business Times, Asiaone Business, NTUC Lifestyle magazine, FundSupermart, TODAY, Money Smart etc. Sam holds the associate financial planner accreditation and currently sits on the committee of Financial Services Consumers Association of Singapore (FiSCA).
 

Mr Derrick Heng

Derrick Heng is an Investment Analyst with Phillip Securities Research, specializing in equity research into the Transportation sector. Prior to joining Phillip Securities, Derrick was an Engineer at the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), bringing along with him a strong understanding of the engineering and defense sector. He has since actively covered blue-chip companies such as Singapore Airlines, SIA Engineering, ST Engineering and SATS. Derrick graduated from the National University of Singapore with an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. He had passed all 3 levels of the CFA program.





It has been three years since the launch of PhillipETF.com, a free comprehensive ETF resource to the public. With our belief and commitment in investor education, innovation and transparency in mind, we are opening this event to all investors. This is our way of thanking all of you who have supported us in this journey and to celebrate the past three years in ETF education.
